Wat te doen direct na een overlijden?
After a death, there’s grief, and we often see that relatives feel like they need to arrange a lot of things right away. There are indeed some things that need to be done quickly, such as caring for and laying out the deceased. Furthermore, we believe it’s especially important to allow time for emotions and saying goodbye through our funeral celebrant service.

1. Overlijden melden
Contact your GP or guardian. If a death occurs in a hospital or healthcare facility, a doctor is automatically contacted. This doctor will issue an official death certificate—a document required for reporting the death to the municipality.
